There have always been people with temperaments and ambitions similar to Adolf Hitler, but the Hitler of the 20th century was possible only because of the people who enabled and appeased him. One of those was Vidkun Quisling, an infamous Norwegian politician whose name has become synonymous with collaboration and treason.
